While all the Lost fans that were able to get to Hawaii Saturday night will be seeing the entire first hour of the Season 6 premiere, those of us not on a beach can at least see the first 2 minutes!

ABC.com has released the first 2 minutes of the Lost Season 6 premiere episode, LA X. The video on ABC.com begins with the text, “815 fans won a message in a bottle containing the first look at Lost the final season premiere event”. The next screen says, “the following video contains potential spoilers, so watch at your own discretion”.

So SPOILERS AHEAD… watch if you want to (and I do)!

Wait… what?

Ok so if you just watched the video or already have, you might be confused. The first time I watched it I decided that it was a cruel joke from ABC claiming that you could see the first 2 minutes (of season 1?). But wait! This IS the first 2 minutes of the Season 6 premiere episode. While it may seem like the same scene from season 1, there a few things that are different this go-around.

But, most importantly, the plane didn’t crash!!! *gasp*

Lost co-executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and the writers, cast, and crew have been very tight-lipped about what to expect for the final season. There has been no new footage (other than one frame that most people probably missed), no episode pictures, and almost no preview synopsis (just one sentence that we could have guessed).

But beware, Lost fans. Saturday at 6:30 p.m. (Hawaiian time) thousands of fans will watch the first hour of the premiere at Sunset on the Beach and shortly after, spoilers will be all over the internet. I may post a few spoilers in my spoiler section, but nothing that will ruin the show for you and nothing that you would stumble on accidentally.

So if you like spoilers, Saturday will be a good day for you, but if not, enter the internet cautiously.

Just in case you haven’t heard about this great Sunset on the Beach premiere, Saturday, January 30 at approximately 6:30 p.m. the first hour of the Lost premiere, LA X, will be shown to thousands of fans on Waikiki Beach of Oahu.

A couple things about that…

1. I wish I could see the premiere early
2. I wish I could see the premiere on a beach
3. I wish I could be in Hawaii for any reason at all because it’s currently 17 degrees in Illinois. :(
